Craig Lloyd

Brief Bio

Craig Lloyd received a BFA in Painting from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio and an MFA in Painting from the University of Cincinnati. He is a Professor Emeritus, Department of Art & Design at Mount St. Joseph University, Cincinnati.

He is also the recipient of an Ohio Arts Council Individual Excellence Award, a City of Cincinnati Individual Artists Grant and a Summerfair Foundation Individual Artists Grant. Exhibition awards include: Robert A. Davies Merit Award, 59th Mid-States Art Exhibition, Evansville Museum, Evansville, IN, 2019; Juror’s Award, The View, an all-Ohio landscape competition, Rosewood Art Center Gallery, Kettering, Ohio, 2018; Third Place Award, The View, an all-Ohio landscape competition, Rosewood Art Center Gallery, Kettering, Ohio, 2016; the Ridgewood Art Institute Award, 86th Grand National Exhibition, The American Artists Professional League, NYC, 2014, the Frank F. Weisberg Award for Excellence in Painting, at the 2011 Water Tower Regional, Louisville, KY and an Award of Excellence at the Art at the X, National Juried Exhibition, Xavier University Art Gallery, 2008.
